Movin’ Shoes Running Club Spring 2019 Training Program with coaching by Tom Kaufman

This spring, coach Tom Kaufman will be leading a spring training program for members of the Movin’ Shoes Running Club (MSRC).  Participants have the option of having the program aimed at the Syttende Mai 10 or 20 mile race (May 18), or the Twilight 5K (May 25).

The program costs $35 for MSRC members and $60 for non-members.  It is $60 for non-members because participation in the training program requires running club membership which is a $25 fee.  The sign up deadline is March 7th at midnight, and we will have a kickoff meeting on March 11th at 7:30pm.

Tom Kaufman is a Wisconsin Cross Country Coaches Association Hall of Fame member, and coached the Madison West High School cross country team to WIAA Division 1 titles in 2004, 2012, 2014, and 2016.  Tom is also a former member of the Wisconsin Badgers Cross Country team, and has worked at Movin’ Shoes for over 40 years.
