Our employees are able to tell a great deal from wear patterns and stresses on your old pair of shoes, and will help us to make adjustments and determine which is best.
Socks can make a big difference when trying on shoes. For example, wearing a thinner sock than what you regularly run with, may give you the feeling that your new shoes will be too loose when trying them on.
Our staff love to hear about your running history, personal stories, or injuries. All of this information can help fit you in the proper shoe.
That’s right, we let our customers run with the shoes on our indoor treadmill, or if the weather is agreeable, for a few blocks outside. The best way to know if a running shoe is going to work out or not, is to actually run in it.
Remember that appearances aren’t everything, the most important thing when it comes to running shoes, is how well it functions to keep you injury free and running happy.
We offer many local companies and organizations corporate/group discounts on shoes and gear as a way to say “thank you” to the community that has supported us since 1973.
We want you to be happy in your new shoes so you can keep movin’. Use them, but if they aren’t feeling right please bring them back to the shop as soon as you can for a refund or exchange. Any other gear (i.e. accessories, socks, nutrition, and apparel) may be returned within 30 days for a refund or exchange as long as the gear is unused and the packaging is intact.
