The Movin’ Shoes Race Team sent two men’s and two women’s teams down to the Chicago Shamrock Shuffle on April 2nd. Both teams welcomed some new faces to the crew as they aimed to ruffle some feathers in the Midwest road racing scene. The men’s A team finished in a respectable 9th place, while the women’s A team ran a phenomenal 2nd place finish.
When asked what his favorite moment was of the weekend, Movin’ Shoes heartthrob Lorenzo Wrinkles had this to say:
“My favorite moment has to be crossing the finish line in the vibrant Movin’ Shoes Race Team baby blue, as the sun kissed my pasty winter white skin. The last time I saw the sun was on my honeymoon getaway with my mother, days after my ex-fiancée left me at the altar. These days I find my long lost ex-fiancée running through my mind as I myself hit the pavement, grinding out mileage at an unnecessarily fast pace, holding out hope that I will win her back one day with my blazing speed.”
