Rumble on the Ridge-Last Person Standing
May 21 @ 8:00 am - May 22 @ 8:00 am

Rumble on the Ridge is a take on the traditional Backyard Ultra Last Person Standing. The event will take place on private land just 40 minutes west of Madison, WI. in the heart of the Driftless Area on an old dairy farm. Participants will compete on a 1 mile looped course completing a loop every 15 minutes.
Sounds easy enough right?….Within the 1 mile loop you’ll hit 275+ feet of elevation gain via a .5 mile climb up an active access road to the top of the ridge, single tracks along the spine of the ridge and, back down the hill on an old snowmobile path with an average grade of -28% before running the base of the hill back to the start. And just to keep it interesting we are going to reverse the course every 3 hours to save your quads from the downhill….You can thank us later.
All donations and a percentage of the proceeds from the event will go directly to the planning and building of the Driftless Trail. The Driftless Area Land Conservancy (DALC) is leading this project to build the Driftless Trail which is a planned 50-mile loop that connects Tower Hill, Governor Dodge, and Blue Mounds State Parks.
